The Delid-Die-Mate Heater: Heating Element for CPU Delidding
The Intel 1851 Delid-Die-Mate Heater V1 is a specially designed heating element for the Intel 1851 Delid-Die-Mate V1. The heater heats the CPU and delidder to a necessary temperature of 165 °C for delidding. Operation is via a control unit with an OLED display, which is connected to the heater with two cables.
For the operation of the heater, a laptop/smartphone charger with a power of at least 65 watts and a USB Type-C connector is required, which is not included in the delivery! Additionally, a small amount of thermal paste is needed.
Caution:Removing the heat spreader („delidding”) of a processor is done at your own risk! Delidding the CPU voids the manufacturer’s warranty! Damage incurred during CPU delidding is not covered by the manufacturer!
Caution:When delidding a CPU with the Intel 1851 Delid-Die-Mate V1, it is essential to pay attention to the manufacturer’s provided instructions!
