Koolance QD3 quick release straight female to 13/10mm – no-spill, black

Koolance’s QD series of quick-release fasteners makes it very easy and practical to interrupt the coolant circuit by simply pressing down a metal ring. This is particularly necessary where hoses or water cooling components connected via them must be frequently disconnected from the rest of the water cooling system.

Consider, for example, an external radiator that you want to quickly and safely detach from your PC during transport so that it can be transported separately. Or a water cooling component that you change frequently, whether for the sake of experimentation (CPU or chipset cooler) or due to regular upgrades (VGA cooler).

Two QD3 quick connectors made of black lacquered brass are connected or separated (one male, one female). Koolance has developed valves that, as the name No-Spill suggests, are designed to ensure a certain degree of leak-free performance. However, it should be noted that a 100% instant seal is not possible, and up to 0.2 ml of fluid may leak out.

This quick connector is the black, straight female version with a compression fitting. The inner diameter can be 10 millimeters and the outer diameter 13 millimeters.
