The strap features a 4-layer, 4-sided 3D motherboard, which contains as many as 10 chips that allow the goggles and the strap’s battery to be charged simultaneously. The safety system includes more than 10 protections, including overvoltage, overheating, overload and over-discharge protection. The robust design is further reinforced with fire-resistant materials, and the low-resistance capacitors used reduce the risk of overheating.
