Endgame Gear XM2w 4K: Developed for Competitive Play

While the external shape remains identical to the famous XM claw grip design, the internal structure has been optimised down to the smallest detail to achieve a low overall weight of around 62 g, while maintaining a robust, hole-free housing construction.

The XM2w 4k was developed by esports veterans for competitive use and includes premium components, such as PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor, the Nordic nRF52840 wireless MCU, and Endgame Gear’s exclusive Kailh GX SPDT switches with GX mode compatibility.

Wireless Polling Rate of up to 4000 Hz

To achieve the best possible performance, the XM2w 4k is powered by a Nordic nRF52840 wireless MCU. The 4k dongle utilises a Nordic nRF52820 MCU to ensure stable and reliable wireless data transmission. Additionally, a Nuvoton M483 MCU is used for high-speed USB connections, enabling wireless polling rates of up to 4,000 Hz, offering incredibly low sensor and click latency. The 4k dongle is included with the mouse, providing optimal performance straight out of the box.

Industry-Leading Click Latency

The XM2w 4k sets new standards for wireless performance, offering click latency averaging under 310 microseconds*. With a consistent 4,000 Hz polling rate for clicks, you’ll enjoy extremely low click latency at all available sensor polling rates. Activating GX Speed Mode reduces click latency by an additional 1.4 ms, setting a new benchmark and making it by far the fastest wireless mouse in the world.

This exceptional responsiveness guarantees immediate registration of every click, helping you secure victory in crucial moments and decisive duels.

PixArt 3395 Sensor

The responsiveness of the XM2w 4k is significantly enhanced by the use of the PixArt PAW3395 sensor. This sensor features a higher resolution pixel array and offers up to 26,000 CPI, a lift-off distance of just 1 mm, and up to 650 IPS for unmatched precision, even during the fastest movements.

The PAW3395 also offers motion sync at the sensor level for consistent and synchronised tracking. With smoothing and angle snapping disabled, the sensor’s tracking data remains as pure as possible. All power-saving functions are completely disabled in “corded mode” to extract the maximum performance from the XM2w 4k.

Kailh GX Switches, Designed by Endgame Gear

Designed for lightning-fast precision at all polling rates, the mechanical Kailh GX switches ensure you never miss a crucial click. The SPDT configuration provides optimal electrical contact and unparalleled reliability. With contacts on both the top and bottom, Kailh GX switches are excellent, whether you prefer low click latency in GX Speed Mode or reliability in GX Safe Mode.

What makes them special is their crisp, defined click feel, offering tactile feedback for improved control. Precise actuation and a balanced design ensure flawless, spam-friendly rapid-fire actions.

Hybrid Skate Design

The XM2w 4k comes with two sets of PTFE skates (large and small) and a sensor skate. Thanks to the hybrid design of the underside, you can choose between large or small skates, with the smaller skates pre-installed by default. The skate cut-outs are larger than those of the XM1(r) and can be used with various custom skates, including those for XM1 and XM1r.

The larger surface area provides additional flexibility for adjusting the glide of the XM2w and reusing skates you’ve already purchased. The sensor skate is optional but recommended for softer mousepads.
