The Perfect Combination: SFX-L Form Factor

The SFX-L Power from be quiet! employs the compact SFX-L form factor which eliminates one of the disadvantages of the classic SFX format by slightly increasing the length of the PSU. This adjustment means that this compact PSU can be fitted with a larger – and quieter – 120 mm fan instead of an 80 mm fan which is often louder. The result is a powerful SFX-L power supply with an enormously high 600 Watt continuous output and a quiet fan that adjusts itself in accordance with the load placed upon the PSU.

The SFX-L format of this power supply makes it perfect for smaller cases, but that hasn’t stopped be quiet! from cramming in a huge range of connectivity options as well as offering a lot of performance in a very small amount of space. Due to the 12,5 cm however, we do recommend that you check the compatibility of your case beforehand. The PSU also comes with a replacement cover to allow it to be mounted in ATX cases.

Fully Modular Cable Management & 80 PLUS Gold Efficiency

The mounting of the power supply in small cases is particularly easy thanks to the clever cable management and its modularity, not to mention the removable ribbon cables. The extremely high power efficiency of, on average, 86,5 % – 89,5 %, means that it earns the sought after 80 PLUS Gold certification. Another advantage of this is the reduction in heat produced during operation, and as a result less heat is dissipated into the case and surrounding components.

Instead of a split 12 V line, this version utilises a powerful 50 A single rail along with a raft of electrical protection features. The individually removable connections also demonstrate the capability of this sturdy PSU: In addition to 20+4-pin- and 4+4-pin connectors, there are even four 6+2-pin PCI-Express connections. Six SATA connectors and three 4-pin Molex connectors allow for plenty of options when it comes to installing peripheral devices like HDDs and DVD burners.
