The TG Scraper, made from acrylic glass, is a specially designed scraper with a narrow tip to remove, for example, silicone adhesive from the package (the PCB) of a delidded processor or residues of indium solder from CPU dies. The ergonomic shape of the TG Scraper allows for a firm and secure grip.

The Thermal Grizzly TG Scraper: Cleaning Aid for CPU Delidding
With a set of three scrapers, Thermal Grizzly offers an effective solution for cleaning adhesive and solder residues from CPUs. The acrylic construction protects your hardware from damage and enables effective removal of residues and contaminants.
Important: Work Carefully
Although the acrylic scraper causes significantly less damage than, for example, a metal scraper, careful work is still important. Caution is required to avoid damaging sensitive components on the CPU.
For the removal of indium solder, Thermal Grizzly recommends gently and roughly cleaning the surface with the scraper. Afterwards, the surface should be freed of stubborn residues with liquid metal. This prepares your CPU optimally for particularly effective on-die cooling solutions.
