UNI-T UT343D paint thickness tester

UNI-T UT343D is an advanced meter, designed to accurately measure the thickness of paint and other protective coatings on metallic surfaces – both steel , and aluminum. The device is distinguished by a fast measurement function, a color TFT screen, computer connectivity and a number of intelligent functions.

Wide measuring range and high precision

The UT343D measures the thickness of coatings in the range from 0 to 1,250 µm with a resolution of 0.1 µm (for the 0-99.9 µm range) and 1 µm (for values above 100 µm). The accuracy is ±(3%H + 1) µm, allowing you to get reliable results even with very thin layers. You can perform measurements in single or continuous mode, and additional Max/Min/Avg functions help you analyze a series of measurements.

Quick test function – greater productivity

A unique feature of the UT343D is the Quick Test Mode, which allows you to define the coating thickness tolerance range. If the measured value falls within the defined range, the device signals this with a 3-color LED and an audible signal. This solution is particularly useful in the paint, sheet metal or quality control industries.

Convenient operation and additional functions

The device is equipped with a 2-inch TFT color display (320 × 240 pixels) with brightness control and automatic rotation function, which ensures comfortable operation regardless of lighting conditions and working position. In addition, a low battery indicator lets you know when the batteries need to be replaced. Measurement data can be stored in the device’s memory (up to 500 groups), then transferred to a computer via USB and analyzed using dedicated software.
