Functionality

The Intel 1851 Mycro Pro RGB is a CPU water cooler for Intel’s LGA1851 socket and backwards compatible with LGA1700. The nickel-plated copper base plate features 70 microfins, each 0.2 mm wide, creating a large surface area for heat absorption. In combination with the jet plate and flow-optimised design, the coolant is directed precisely over the fins, ensuring efficient and uniform heat dissipation.

Design and Materials

The cooler is made from a nickel-plated copper plate, tempered acrylic glass, and a cover of anodised aluminium. The acrylic glass is tempered after processing to reduce stress and increase durability. Beneath the cover is integrated RGB lighting that visually complements the design. The simple appearance blends seamlessly into various systems.

Installation and Compatibility

Connection is via G1/4″ threads for inlet and outlet, allowing broad compatibility with common water cooling components. The inlet port features a fine mesh filter that removes particles from the loop, protecting the microfins. EPDM O-rings ensure reliable sealing and are resistant to UV and ozone. The thread depth of the fittings is 6 mm each.
