High-Performance Cooling Solutions – Made in Germany
Thermal Grizzly presents a new product with KryoSheet, which belongs to the company’s advertised „High Performance Cooling Solutions.” The graphene thermal pads of the Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet series are an excellent alternative to high-end thermal pastes. Similar to the Carbonaut pads, they feature an adaptable surface with very high thermal conductivity.
Compared to Carbonaut pads, KryoSheet offers significantly higher thermal conductivity as a high-end product. This enhanced thermal conductivity is due not only to the choice of materials but also to the innovative manufacturing process. KryoSheet contains no liquid components and is therefore not subject to typical ageing as is the case with traditional thermal paste. Drying out is impossible.
What makes KryoSheet so special?
The KryoSheet graphene pads have a molecular structure stacked in the Z-direction. This optimised structure enables outstanding and consistent thermal conductivity. This is achieved through a specially developed manufacturing process in which the hexagonal crystal structure of graphite is disrupted along the basal plane to exploit the anisotropy of graphite’s thermal conductivity. However, as a side effect of this elaborate manufacturing process, electrical conductivity is also increased and the stability of the KryoSheet pads is affected, so the pads must only be used according to instructions!
Due to KryoSheet’s optimised thermal conductivity compared to Carbonaut, the focus of the graphene pads is on enthusiast products in the consumer segment as well as industrial applications. Examples of KryoSheet use include refurbishing used graphics cards and notebooks/laptops.
Who benefits from KryoSheet?
Here, the easy application and durability of the KryoSheet pads are advantages. The long lifespan of the pads means they are maintenance-free. Besides industrial applications, for example in server construction, this is also beneficial for home PC building or in the OEM sector. Because the pads do not need to be replaced regularly like thermal paste, complex maintenance is eliminated.

KryoSheet pads are electrically conductive and must not come into contact with electrical components!
Note: The KryoSheet in size 75 × 72 mm comes with a Kapton insulation sheet and a small amount of silicone oil. This size is specifically intended for use on the CPU socket of the AMD EPYC 9000 series. The Kapton insulation sheet protects the chip and is applied around the chip onto the electronic components (SMDs).
