Optimal Cooling for Your CPU

The Intel Mycro Direct-Die Pro RGB V1 features a jet system on the cooler surface, and the cooling channel slot width has been optimized. The cooler’s cold plate is made of nickel-plated copper and is mounted directly on the CPU chip. For this, the Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) of the motherboard is removed, and the processor needs to be delidded. The nickel plating of the cooler plate creates a barrier layer, preventing gallium-based liquid metal from diffusing into the copper, making repeated applications of liquid metal generally unnecessary.

Stylish Design with RGB Lighting

Between the cold plate and the anodized aluminum cover is acrylic glass, which undergoes a tempering process after milling to relieve internal stresses. This ensures that no stress cracks form in the acrylic glass over time, as can happen with hardened acrylic. Under the aluminum cover are RGB LEDs, controlled via a 3-pin ARGB header (+5V/DATA/GND) through the motherboard. The LEDs illuminate the acrylic glass beneath the cover and the G1/4-inch fittings on the cover.
