Optimal cooling for your CPU

The AMD Mycro Direct-Die Pro RGB V1 features a hybrid structure with two different sizes of micro-fins and a jet plate for optimised flow. The cold plate of the cooler is made of nickel-plated copper and is mounted directly on the CPU chip. For this, the Socket Actuation Mechanism (SAM) of the motherboard is removed, and the processor must be delidded. Nickel plating the cooler plate creates a barrier layer, preventing gallium-based liquid metal from diffusing into the copper, making repeated applications of liquid metal generally unnecessary.

Appealing design with RGB lighting

Between the cold plate and the anodised aluminium lid is acrylic glass, which undergoes a tempering process after milling to relieve internal stresses. This ensures that no stress cracks form in the acrylic glass even after prolonged use, as can occur with hardened acrylic glass. Under the aluminium lid are RGB LEDs, which are controlled via a 3-pin ARGB header (+5V/DATA/GND) through the motherboard. The LEDs illuminate the acrylic glass under the lid and the G1/4-inch connections in the lid.

Compatibility

The CPU water cooler is compatible with all processors in the Ryzen 7000 and 9000 series. The current 9000X3D models are also fully supported.
