The FNIRSI FNAC-28 is a versatile USB-A and USB-C connector tester that combines voltage, amperage, power measurement function and fast charging support in one compact device. It is designed to test chargers, cables, powerbanks and other devices powered by USB ports. With 2 measurement inputs, the tester allows simultaneous testing of charging parameters of different types of cables and devices, increasing its versatility. The color OLED screen displays all key data: input voltage, current and current power. These readings are visible in real time and easily accessible thanks to the intuitive menu and function buttons on the case.

Precise measurement and handling of large loads

The built-in 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is responsible for the high accuracy of the measurements, which is especially important in laboratory and service tests. The tester supports current loads of up to 6.5 A, and the USB-C port allows bi-directional power flow. This makes it possible not only to measure power parameters, but also to analyze the quality of power transfer in both directions, which is crucial when testing devices with Power Delivery.

Automatic identification of fast charging protocols

The FNAC-28 automatically recognizes the most important fast charging protocols, including QC 2.0, QC 3.0, AFC, SCP, FCP, Apple 2.4A, VOOC, SVOOC and PE. When you connect a charger or device, the tester presents a list of supported standards and voltage and current values. You can also activate charging simulations, which allows you to check the charger’s compliance with a given standard and its actual performance.

Extensive measurement functions

With its cable testing function, the FNAC-28 can not only detect damage, but also measure cable resistance and assess its ability to transmit current. The tester also allows you to simulate the load on the device, making it possible to check whether the cable is working properly under real load conditions. The device can perform a battery capacity test, recording time, current and power consumption. The FNAC-28 records up to five sets of measurement data, which are automatically stored in the device. This makes it easy for you to assess battery wear and tear or test new cells before installing them in equipment.

Advanced setting functions

The FNAC-28 allows you to adjust the brightness of the display, set the time to enter standby mode, and select the temperature unit (°C/°F). In addition, the device supports switching the interface language between English and Chinese. The tester can also simulate standard charging profiles, such as Apple’s 2.4A or DASH, allowing comprehensive testing of power supplies without the need to connect additional devices. In addition, the tester can display data in the form of graphs in three modes: classic – with real-time voltage and current, D+/D- line data voltage analysis mode, and voltage disturbance analysis mode, which detects power supply instability.
