The built-in 9-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), consisting of a gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer, continuously monitors the scanner’s movement. As a result, the Pop 3 Plus automatically corrects minor hand shake, eliminating the risk of blurry fragments and errors in merging successive frames. In addition, the global marker tracking mode significantly reduces the accumulation of errors in the point cloud, resulting in extremely stable and precise data fusion.
