The Puluz Protective Lens Shield for Insta360 X4 Air is a heavy-duty lens protector designed for heavy use of the camera in the field. The design combines high-resistance tempered glass with a precision mount to protect the most sensitive piece of equipment from scratches, bumps, water and dirt – without affecting the quality of your recordings.

Durable optical glass

The shield is made of optical tempered glass, equipped with advanced AR, hydrophobic and anti-fog coatings. Thanks to additional hardening treatment, the surface achieves a hardness of 9H, which means resistance much higher than that of standard plastic covers. In addition, the accessory has a light transmission of about 95%, which is further increased by the anti-reflective coating – up to more than 98%. As a result, the image remains sharp and contrasting, and the recordings retain full clarity even in difficult lighting conditions. The coatings also eliminate reflections, resulting in more professional-looking footage.

Protection against water and fogging

A hydrophobic coating with an angle of up to 115° effectively prevents water droplets from settling on the glass surface. At the same time, the anti-fog coating minimizes condensation at low temperatures and in high humidity environments. As a result, the lens remains clean and the recordings free of dirt and tarnishing, regardless of the operating conditions.

Resistant to deformation and temperature

The rugged construction of the glass and housing means that the hood remains stable even during exposure to high temperatures. It will not deform, crack or otherwise be damaged, allowing it to be used safely when recording in both hot weather and dynamic weather changes. As a result, it remains a reliable protection in conditions where equipment is particularly vulnerable to damage.

Easy mounting

The twist-lock mounting mechanism allows you to quickly attach and remove the cover – you don’t need any tools for this. Just fit it to the camera mount and twist it to lock it stably in position. This solution allows you to efficiently clean, replace or remove the accessory without interrupting your work. What’s more, the cover weighs only 4.2 g and doesn’t take up much space, so you can always have it with you.
