The PK-1 is still an excellent choice today for optimally transferring heat from a CPU or GPU to a cooler, whether they are third-party products or Prolimatech’s own winners like Megahalems, Armageddon, Genesis, and others.

However, the competition does not rest, and so it is time to introduce new, further improved thermal compounds to remain at the forefront of cooling technology.

The PK-3 is designed for uncompromisingly good heat transfer, making it a product for absolute enthusiasts and overclockers. Compared to the superb PK-1, the thermal resistance has been further reduced (0.013 °C-in²/W) and the thermal conductivity has even been increased to 11.2 W/m-°C!

Responsible for these excellent values are primarily the included nanoparticles, which settle into microscopic gaps between the heat spreader and the cooler base, preventing disruptive air pockets. Additionally, the PK-3 is non-electrically conductive, non-corrosive, and practically does not dry out.

The small 1.5-gram tube, which should suffice for several sparing applications, also includes a small rectangular cardboard piece for evenly spreading the PK-3.
