With the Phanteks NV9 MK2, you make no compromises in cooling and presenting your hardware. The left side panel and seamlessly integrated front are made of Tempered Glass and provide a superb panoramic view of your components. The pre-installed yet subtle DRGB lighting enhances the case’s aesthetics and further highlights your hardware.

Strong cooling performance for your components

In developing the NV series, and particularly the NV9 MK2, PHANTEKS focused from the outset on cooling the components. The case is therefore very open and designed for uninterrupted airflow. The top and part of the right side cover are made of mesh, allowing for good air throughput. The bottom is sloped and offers a maximum gap of 65mm to allow fresh air into the case.

Many mounting options for better cooling

The PHANTEKS NV9 MK2 offers numerous options for fan installation to optimally cool your hardware.

You can fit a total of eleven 140mm or twelve 120mm fans, ensuring effective cooling throughout. At the bottom, three fans can be attached to a removable frame over the dust filter. The case offers space for four 120mm or three 140mm fans on a similarly removable frame on the side. Three fans can be installed on the top, and the back even has space for two additional fans.

There is also plenty of room for extensive water cooling. A 420mm radiator can fit simultaneously at the top and bottom as well as on the side. You can optionally install a 360mm radiator at the bottom or top. Additionally, a heat exchanger up to 480mm in length can fit on the side. You can also install a 240mm or 280mm radiator at the back if you want to use a smaller AiO water cooling solution for your GPU.

Ample space for your gaming hardware

If you use a large motherboard to get the most out of your system, the NV9 MK2 is also the right choice for you. For maximum compatibility, you can easily accommodate E-ATX motherboards. Furthermore, graphics cards up to 490mm in length and 205mm in width can be installed.

There is sufficient space for modern, wider GPUs and 12VHPWR cables in this big tower case. For additional stability, a GPU holder is also included. The PHANTEKS NV9 MK2 also supports CPU coolers up to 205mm in height.

Additionally, the case offers space for up to three 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch or six 2.5-inch drives, providing you with plenty of storage options for any data. These can be mounted on a frame with hinges behind the motherboard tray and directly on the back of the motherboard tray.

Robust construction and well-equipped I/O panel

In addition to the Tempered Glass panels, the case impresses with its robust steel construction. The frame is well concealed by screen prints on the panels. The seamless glass panels not only provide an elegant appearance but also an unobstructed view of the installed components.

The I/O panel features a power button, HD audio and microphone jack, as well as a USB 3.1 Type-C port and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports for fast data transfer.

Additionally, there are four buttons integrated into the case for controlling the D-RGB lighting – one button each for mode, colour, speed, and channel. Each channel has two connectors for attaching LED strips. The modular I/O panel at the bottom of the front can also be attached to the back of the case.

Intelligent cable management

The PHANTEKS NV9 MK2 offers a sophisticated cable management system that ensures a tidy and organised look. Particularly noteworthy is the back side, which also has a mesh cover and provides cable channels behind it, allowing you to hide cables from the motherboard panel as well.

Through an opening with a rubber grommet, you can even route cables through the bottom of the case. This way, your NV9 MK2 has a tidy and appealing look from every perspective.

The case also supports motherboards with back-connect. With back-connect design motherboards like MSI’s Project Zero or ASUS’s BTF motherboards, the connections for power supply, data cables, and other connections are located on the back of the motherboard. This not only gives you cleaner cable management in your case but also better ventilation.
