Noctua NH-D15 G2: The new edition of Noctua’s dual-tower cooler

Noctua’s NH-D15 G2 features eight copper heat pipes to better distribute your processor’s waste heat across the cooling towers. The cooler’s depth is reduced by 9 mm due to more compact cooling fins. Apart from that, the dimensions remain unchanged.

The NH-D15 G2 comes factory-fitted with 140 mm fans specially designed for the heatsink. With an airflow rate of a hefty 155.6 m³/h, a static pressure of 2.56 mmH₂O at 1,500 RPM, and a noise level of 24.8 dB(A), these fans provide even better cooling performance than the previous model.

Increased curvature of the fan blades along with special notches and winglets (wing tips) ensure higher airflow at lower noise levels. Noctua’s liquid crystal polymer is more rigid than conventional plastics, allowing for an extremely small gap between the fan tip and frame, optimising fan performance.

Furthermore, the material withstands particularly intensive operation at high speeds without deforming. Additionally, the fans run at different speeds, preventing vibrations caused by resonance oscillations.

The included 4-pin PWM low-noise adapter can limit the speed to a maximum of 1,250 RPM if needed, reducing the noise level to just 19.7 dB(A). This makes the fan significantly quieter with only a slight decrease in cooling performance, making the cooler especially suitable for low-noise builds.

Large design, no compromises

With one fan in operation, Noctua’s cooler provides enough space for RAM modules, despite its large design, with a height of up to 59 mm. As such, this cooler accommodates all common RAM modules. With both fans in operation, there is enough space for RAM modules up to 32 mm in height. As with the previous model, the heatsink is offset upwards to provide sufficient space for your graphics card.

Design in Noctua’s familiar cream colours

The silver heatsink and cream-coloured fans with coffee-brown accents are typical design features of Noctua. The heatsink’s sleek design paired with the large fans ensures active cooling of your motherboard components.
