Noctua NF-F12-PWM korpuso ventiliatorius – 120mm

The NF-F12 PWM from Austrian fan and cooler specialist Noctua is a state-of-the-art 120mm fan with PWM functionality. A range of features makes it the ideal choice as a powerful yet quiet CPU cooler or radiator fan.

Fans for these applications need to generate particularly high static pressure to push air through sometimes very thick heatsinks. The NF-F12 PWM meets this requirement precisely with up to 2.61 mmH2O.

The technical foundation for such impressive performance—at only a maximum of 1,500 RPM and no more than 22.4 dB(A)!—is Noctua’s specially developed „Focused Flow” frame. This design uses eleven stator guide vanes to straighten and focus the airflow.

The airflow itself is generated by the „Heptaperf” rotor with its seven fan blades. Thanks to the advanced SSO2 bearing, even greater smoothness is achieved compared to previous products. Many other features make the NF-F12 PWM a powerful yet quiet performer.

The stator guide vanes are arranged at varying angles between 31 and 37 degrees and feature the familiar „Vortex-Control Notches.” These design elements help distribute noise emissions across a broader frequency range, making the fan less intrusive to the human ear.

Beyond these psychoacoustic optimisations, the NF-F12 PWM is also objectively very quiet in operation. Thanks to its PWM functionality, the fan’s speed can be directly controlled by the motherboard. Noctua’s proprietary NE-FD1 PWM control chip allows the fan to operate very quietly and efficiently, especially at low speeds.

The 120mm fan comes with a „Low-Noise Adapter” (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum speed to 1,200 RPM, with a maximum noise level of just 18.6 dB(A), making the fan highly customisable to individual needs. Additionally, it features silicone anti-vibration pads at the corners to minimise noise.

The package includes four standard fan screws, four anti-vibration mounts, a 30cm PWM extension cable, and a Y-splitter cable for connecting two fans to a single motherboard PWM header.
