After two years of meticulous planning and design, Montech has finally launched the first keyboard in its MKey line. The goal of the MKey line is to develop keyboards that offer a premium typing experience while also delivering a captivating story behind the product itself. These keyboards are not only functional but also bring joy to the user, turning typing into a wonderful adventure.

Inspired by the iconic Osaka Castle in Japan, the MKey keyboard features a superb design that captures the essence of the castle. The MKey comes with two sets of custom keycaps that embrace the Osaka Castle theme: Osakajo Blue Skies and Osakajo Dark. Additionally, the MKey offers the flexibility to use Cherry-compatible keycaps, giving users complete freedom to customise their keyboard.

With Montech MKey’s five-sided sublimation printing process for vibrant and durable symbols on each key, this technique ensures the design does not fade or wear off easily, providing a long-lasting and high-quality finish for every keycap that will impress even the most demanding users.

Dynamic and glorious RGB

The MKey features a total of 18 RGB lighting modes with RGB LEDs located beneath each key. Users can easily switch lighting modes directly on the keyboard or via software. Unlike other competitors, the MKey uses south-facing LED switches, allowing users to swap to various shaped and styled Cherry-compatible keycaps without restrictions. This gives you the freedom to customise the look of your keyboard to your heart’s content and suit your taste.

MKey rotary knob: Quick access to key functions

The MKey rotary knob has three main modes: zoom in and out, volume control, and RGB mode toggle. You can cycle through these modes simply by pressing the knob. The knob indicates the current mode via an integrated light ring. The rotary knob enables quick access to essential functions without the need for additional software or key presses.

The MKey features Kailh hot-swap sockets, making the keyboard extremely versatile as it is compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches. With the included switch puller, you can effortlessly remove and replace switches, tailoring the keyboard to your needs.
