The MD-600D & MD-1000D Integrated High Coat Hardened Steel Nozzle is a premium all-steel nozzle built for durability, high temperature performance, and smoother extrusion. It features a hardened steel build with a special high-coat surface treatment to resist wear and corrosion. Available in 0.4, 0.6, or 0.8 mm sizes, it’s ideal for both standard and fiber-reinforced filaments.

Durability & materials

The nozzle is made from premium hardened steel, which gives it much greater resistance to abrasion compared to standard brass or untreated steel nozzles. The hardened steel resists wear especially when printing abrasive or filled filaments.

High coat surface finish

Mingda has applied a special high-coat treatment to the nozzle. This surface coating reduces filament adhesion, helps prevent corrosion, and improves filament flow. The result is less buildup and clogging over time, and a longer service life for the nozzle.

Thermal & performance capabilities

The nozzle is designed to handle elevated temperatures commonly needed for engineering and reinforced filaments. With its optimized inner bore and smooth machining, extrusion is more consistent, and flow variation or clogs are minimized.

Filament compatibility

Because of its hardened steel structure and coating, the nozzle works well with more aggressive materials — especially fiber composite filaments such as PA-CF, PETG-CF and ABS-CF. It offers better performance and longevity when using those compared to more fragile materials.

Sizes & installation

Comes in three sizes: 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.8 mm. The design is drop-in for the MD-600D & MD-1000D printers, meaning no complex modifications are required — simply remove your old nozzle and install this one.
