Fan guards serve a dual purpose: they protect the rotor and can also act as an elegant visual accent. This is a classically designed steel fan guard for large 200 mm fans. It prevents accidental contact of fingers or dangling cables with the fan blades. This protects cables, fingers, and the fan itself, as damage to the suspension or fan blades could negatively impact the fan’s lifespan.
Since 200 mm fans are relatively uncommon, this model can also be used for custom modding projects, such as elegantly covering self-cut case holes for large fans. The screws or alternative mounting systems required for installation are not included in the package.
