Unique algoPIN™
Our unique algoPIN™ uses technology that’s similar to a banking token’s One Time Password (OTP).

How does algoPIN™ allow you to generate PIN codes without WiFi?

STEP 1 – Pairing
After installation, you’ll need to pair your lock to your igloohome account via the igloohome app on your smartphone.
Upon successful pairing, your smartphone will sync the unique PIN token to our secure cloud servers and does not retain the token locally.

STEP 2 – Generate PIN
When creating PIN codes for guests or family members, your smartphone sends a request to your token in the cloud servers.
Using algorithms and seeds, a unique PIN code si the generated at random with the validity duration built into it.
There´s no need for you to be near the lock to do this.

STEP 3 – Grant PIN
Now armed with a PIN code, you cna share this with your desired recipient via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS and more.
There´s no need for your guest to download an additional app to recive the PIN code.

STEP 4 – Access Property
As the PIN code is keyed into the respective igloohome device, the lock translates the PIN code into the desired action e.g.
Grant access once only.

Easy to install
No heavy drilling is involved, just attach it to the lock on the inside of your door. You can keep your existing keys while enjoying the benefits of a smart lock. No modifications are needed on the outside of your door too!

Modes of access
To unlock, simply launch the igloohome app and turn on Bluetooth services. There, tap on the lock icon and let yourself in!
All igloohome locks are mobile app-enabled. You can create Bluetooth keys for guests, family members, and friends anytime, anywhere.
For easier sharing of access, the Keypad is available as an accessory. It offers an added mode of access via PIN codes!
The Keypad is the perfect device for multiple igloohome locks, or to value-add to the Retrofit Lock. Great for guests, visitors, kids and more, the Keypad lets you grant temporary access to your home. There’s no need for a smartphone to gain entry, just send them unique PIN codes.

Auto Lock The Retrofit Lock automatically locks once the door is shut to give you a greater peace of mind.
Auto Unlock Your door automatically unlocks when you return home. Never fumble with keys again.
Low Battery Alert An intuitive audio and visual alert will prompt you to change the batteries when it runs low.
Obstruction Alarm The lock will sound an alarm if the bolt tongue cannot be extended or retracted fully to alert the user of any obstructions.
Night Mode Automatically lock your door at a set time during the night for heightened security.
Schedule Set times for your lock to unlock or lock your door automatically. These schedules will also disable Auto Lock during your set times for easier access throughout the duration.
High Torque Mode The High Torque Mode is available for locks that require more power to extend and retract the bolt tongue smoothly.
Volume Control Adjust the volume according to your preference. Select from levels 0 (mute) to 5 (loudest).
API & SDK Integration We provide APIs and SDKs for seamless integration across several platforms.
