Next-generation performance with Intel Core Ultra

At the heart of the computer is an Intel Core Ultra 5 125U processor manufactured using the modern Intel 4 (4 nm) technology process. The unit offers 12 cores and 14 threads in a hybrid architecture (2 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores, and 2 Low-Power Efficient cores), allowing for optimal task distribution between performance and energy efficiency. The maximum clock speed reaches 4.3 GHz, and 12 MB of cache memory ensures fast access to data when working with demanding applications. With intelligent power management, you can tailor your computer's performance to your current needs – Silent mode (15 W) ensures quiet operation during everyday tasks, Balance mode (25 W) offers a compromise between performance and quiet operation, while Performance mode (35 W) allows you to take full advantage of the hardware's capabilities under heavier loads.

The computer uses Intel AI Boost technology with a dedicated NPU unit that provides up to 11 TOPS of computing power for AI-based tasks. The dedicated AI engine also improves the smoothness of video conferencing and enables more advanced image and sound processing. The computer also supports Wi-Fi 6E connectivity using the clear 6 GHz band, which translates into higher transmission speeds, lower latency, and more stable connections for streaming, cloud computing, and backup. In addition, Bluetooth 5.2 allows for convenient connection of wireless accessories such as headphones, keyboards, mice, and controllers.

Extensive set of ports and expansion options

Despite its compact design, the GMKtec K15 offers a rich set of ports on the front and rear panels. At your disposal are, among others, a USB 4.0 port, USB-C, two USB ports, three USB 3.2 ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, OCuLink connector, two CTIA audio jacks, and two 2.5G LAN ports. The OCuLink port, operating in the PCIe 4.0 x4 standard, allows you to connect external graphics cards or other expansion devices, which can significantly increase the capabilities of your computer in gaming and professional applications. However, please note that this port does not support hot-plugging.

The mini PC offers extensive storage and memory expansion options. Inside, there are three M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots that allow you to install SSDs with a total capacity of up to 24 TB. Such a large space will be useful when working with large projects, archiving data, or creating a private file server. The computer also supports 32 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory in two SO-DIMM slots, allowing you to expand the RAM up to 96 GB. These parameters enable comfortable work with multiple applications simultaneously and support for more demanding work environments.

To maintain high performance even during intensive work, the computer is equipped with an intelligent cooling system with two fans. The upper module is responsible for cooling the processor, while the lower fan supports airflow throughout the case.
