Strong and Durable Filament

ASA-CF08 is designed for parts that must withstand sunlight, weather, and mechanical stress. With 8% carbon fiber, the material becomes stiff and dimensionally stable, while the ASA base provides excellent UV resistance and prevents cracking. This makes it ideal for outdoor parts or components in demanding environments.

Heat and Mechanical Performance

The filament keeps its shape even under higher temperatures, with a heat resistance of up to around 103 °C. Its combination of stiffness, strength, and impact toughness ensures that printed parts are both durable and functional in real-world use.

Easy to Print with the Right Setup

ASA-CF08 prints best at 260–280 °C on a heated bed of 90–100 °C. For optimal results, an enclosed chamber is recommended to avoid cracking during cooling. Because carbon fiber is abrasive, a hardened nozzle such as steel is strongly advised to ensure reliable and long-lasting performance.

Suitable Applications

This filament is particularly suitable for outdoor components exposed to sunlight and weather, automotive parts requiring precision and stiffness, and industrial projects where a matte, professional surface is important.

Safe Use

When printing ASA, small amounts of styrene and other emissions may be released. Always ensure good ventilation or air filtration for a safe and comfortable workspace.
