Reservoirs serve as a coolant reservoir in water cooling systems, compensating for the natural loss of coolant — for example, through diffusion in the tubing — and helping to prevent air bubbles in the loop, which could otherwise cause increased pump noise.

In addition to these practical functions, reservoirs can also act as visual highlights. Acrylic tubes are particularly well suited for this, as their transparent appearance offers a wide range of modding possibilities (lighting, coloured fluids, etc.). They are also flexible in terms of placement and available in various sizes.

This is a replacement acrylic tube for water tanks in Bitspower’s Z and Z-Multi series. To install it, simply unscrew the top and bottom caps from the existing reservoir and attach them to the new acrylic tube. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
