The be quiet! Light Base 500 LX mid tower offers the perfect balance between size and functionality. With ample space for powerful hardware and efficient cooling, it is the ideal choice for gaming and workstation builds.

Extensive cooling options with fans and radiators

To keep your hardware cool under any load, the be quiet! Light Base 500 LX supports the installation of up to ten fans simultaneously. The top panel can accommodate three 120mm or two 140mm fans. On the side, three 120mm fans are possible, while the bottom supports three 120mm fans. A 120 or 140mm fan can also be mounted at the rear.

Out of the box, you receive four pre-installed 120mm fans – three Light Wings LX Reverse on the side and one Light Wings LX at the rear. All fans support customizable RGB lighting.

An AiO water cooling system can also be easily installed if you prefer to cool your powerful hardware with liquid cooling. There is space for this on the top (up to 360mm), the side (up to 240mm), and the rear (up to 120mm).

Installing your hardware

The case offers enough room for powerful gaming hardware. It supports graphics cards up to 400mm in length. Motherboards up to the ATX form factor are supported. You can also install motherboards with a back-connect design – in this case, you should replace the power supply and a drive bracket to be able to use all drives. The CPU cooler should not exceed 185mm in height. For storing programs and games, up to three drives can be installed in total.
