A battery switch is a device used mainly in vehicles and machines to disconnect the electrical power supply. Its main task is to interrupt the electrical circuit, which prevents battery discharge and protects the electrical installation from short circuits. Thanks to its solid construction and high resistance to electrical loads, it ensures safe and effective current management.

Applications of a battery switch:
– Disconnecting the battery in heavy goods vehicles, agricultural vehicles and construction vehicles.
– Protection against theft (disconnecting the power supply immobilizes the vehicle).

Operation:
A battery switch is most often mounted on the battery ground wire. After switching it, the circuit is interrupted, which prevents current flow and cuts off the power supply from the rest of the electrical installation.
