The battery hydrometer is intended for the initial evaluation of the efficiency and the degree of charge of acid batteries equipped with plugs for each chamber separately.

Manual:
Insert the tester tip into the battery chamber.
Squeeze the pump and then release it, saturating the electrolyte to the „FLUID LEVEL” level on the tester.
Tap the tester lightly to remove air bubbles.
The small needle at the top of the tester should be vertical.
The large hand will indicate the result on the scale.
After the measurement, pour the electrolyte into the chamber from which it was taken.
The measurement results of all chambers should be similar, deviation indicates that the chamber is damaged.
Rinse the tester with clean running water after use.
Attention. The electrolyte is very corrosive. Any stains on bodywork, clothing or bodywork should be washed off immediately with plenty of water.

Measurement result:
blue color – charged battery,
gray color – partially discharged battery, equalize charge recommended,
red color – discharged battery.
