ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS: fast curved gaming monitor in WQHD
With the ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS, ASUS offers a high-performance curved monitor for gamers and enthusiasts alike. The 27-inch display with a curvature of 1500R has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD) and provides a fast refresh rate of 180 Hz. Thanks to AMD FreeSync, the refresh rate of the gaming monitor is adaptively adjusted to the FPS of a compatible graphics card.
The fast refresh rate combined with the low response time of just 1 ms grey-to-grey makes it the perfect option for gamers looking to gain an advantage in first-person shooters or other action titles.
Colour reproduction, ergonomics, and connectivity
The VA panel offers a viewing angle of 178°, whether horizontal or vertical, thus displaying colours from almost any perspective untainted. It achieves an average brightness of 400 cd/m² and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 & HDR10 certified. It reproduces colours in 8-bit, meaning it can display up to 16.7 million colours.
The monitor offers excellent ergonomics. It can be tilted up to 20° / -5°, rotated up to ±35°, and adjusted in height by up to 12 cm. With the VESA mount that has a distance of 100 x 100 mm, you can also connect it to alternative monitor mounts.
This is all complemented by the extensive connectivity options of the monitor. The ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS offers a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, an HDMI 2.0 connection, a USB-C connection with alternative DP 1.4 mode, and audio connections.
