ASUS ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi: ATX motherboard with AMD AM5

The ASUS ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi is equipped with the B650 chipset for AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series processors and comes with numerous features for gamers and overclockers. As the Ryzen 7000 series processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and enhanced power delivery, the AM5 socket (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series motherboards.

Despite the increased pin count, the actual size of the socket remains identical to older sockets, allowing most CPU coolers for AM4 sockets to be mounted on the motherboard.

The ASUS ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi is designed for high-end gaming, allowing you to enjoy demanding games without interruptions. The high-quality voltage regulators with 12+2 virtual phases provide stable power to the CPU, ensuring high clock rates can be maintained over extended periods. Additional features such as DIGI+ VRM for adjusting VRM voltage and frequency modulation, as well as BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS, allow you to get your PC back up and running in case something goes wrong. As usual, the DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to higher clock rates.
