ASUS Prime B650M-A WIFI II: ATX Motherboard with AMD AM5
The ASUS Prime B650M-A WIFI II is equipped with the B650 chipset for AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series processors and comes with numerous features for gamers and overclockers. Since the Ryzen 7000 series processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and enhanced power delivery, the AM5 socket (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series motherboards.
Despite the increased pin count, the actual size of the socket remains the same as older sockets, allowing most AM4 socket CPU coolers to be mounted on the motherboard.
The ASUS TUF Gaming B650M-E WIFI is designed for high-end gaming, enabling you to enjoy demanding games without interruptions. The high-quality voltage regulators with 8+2 virtual phases provide stable power to the CPU, ensuring high clock rates can be maintained over extended periods. Additional features include DIGI+ VRM for adjusting VRM voltage and frequency modulation, as well as BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS, allowing you to use the PC again if something goes wrong. As usual, DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to higher clock rates.
