The Features of the ULTITUBE D5 150 Reservoir with D5 PWM Pump in Detail

The ULTITUBE D5 150 reservoir from aqua computer is equipped with a borosilicate glass tube. Compared to commonly used plexiglass, borosilicate glass has a very high hardness and scratch resistance. Additionally, it has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and expands very little when heated.

Both ends of the glass tube are securely connected with metal rings made of black anodized aluminum that do not come into contact with the cooling medium. Thanks to the clever construction, there is no need for internal struts or additional tubes. Both the top and the base of the ULTITUBE 150 D5 are made from durable acetal and are screwed together with the aluminum rings and the tube.

The glass tube has a wall thickness of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 65 mm. A filter made of stainless steel mesh is integrated into the base of the reservoir. The filter retains particles and eliminates disruptive air bubbles. The filter element is easy to remove and can be cleaned under running water. The seal in the top of the reservoir is designed as a rubber molded part for easy installation, ensuring secure positioning when screwing the top on.

At the bottom of the ULTITUBE D5 150, a aqua computer D5 PWM pump is already mounted. The pump can be controlled via PWM signal, and a tachometer signal is available to monitor the pump’s function. The pump is mounted via an aluminum ring at the base of the reservoir. The reservoir can be mounted both on a side or back wall, as well as standing. Appropriate brackets and matching mounting hardware, as well as four soft rubber decouplers, are included in the delivery.

Note: The reservoir cannot be used without the pump.
