The features of the ULTITUBE D5 100 PRO Reservoir with D5-NEXT pump in detail

The ULTITUBE D5 100 PRO Reservoir from aqua computer is equipped with a borosilicate glass tube. In contrast to commonly used acrylic glass, borosilicate glass has a very high hardness and scratch resistance. Additionally, it has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and expands very little when heated.

Both ends of the glass tube are securely connected with black anodised aluminium metal rings that do not come into contact with the cooling medium. Due to the clever design, internal struts or additional tubes are not required. The lid and the base of the ULTITUBE 100 D5 are made of resistant acetal and are screwed together with the aluminium rings and the tube.

The glass tube has a wall thickness of 5 mm and an outer diameter of 65 mm. In the base of the Reservoir, a filter made of stainless steel mesh is integrated. The filter traps particles and eliminates annoying air bubbles. The filter element is easily removable and can be cleaned under running water.

The delivery includes a digitally addressable RGB LED lighting in the form of an LED ring with 13 RGB LEDs. The RGBpx ring can easily be slid over the tank and illuminates the Reservoir and the coolant. Made of silicone, the light diffuses through the LED, minimising unsightly LED spots. The RGBpx ring has an input and an output, allowing multiple LED rings to be connected in a chain.

The seal in the lid of the Reservoir is designed as a rubber mould for easy assembly, ensuring a secure position when screwing on the lid. Additionally, an almost invisible pressure compensation membrane is integrated in the lid, continuously compensating for pressure fluctuations caused by temperature changes without coolant escaping.

At the base of the ULTITUBE D5 100 PRO, an aqua computer D5-NEXT pump is already mounted. The pump features an OLED display and numerous control and adjustment functions. The pump is attached via an aluminium ring at the base of the Reservoir. The Reservoir can be mounted on a side or rear wall, as well as standing upright. Corresponding brackets and suitable mounting materials, as well as four soft rubber decouplers, are included in the delivery.

Attention: Use of the Reservoir without a pump is not possible. An Aqua Computer control unit with RGBpx output is required for the operation of the RGBpx LED ring.
