After the Apache successfully hunted in the territory of high-end fans, Akasa expands its first-class PWM fan series with the Viper. This fan is already known from the Venom CPU cooler, where it has proven its excellent performance, offering an optimal compromise between high cooling performance and low noise levels.

The key factor here is the optimised shape of the fan blades. These are S-shaped, which allows more air to be moved at the same speed. In turn, this enables a reduction in speed to maintain the same airflow while reducing noise levels.

The result of these efforts is a minimal noise level of 7 dB(A) at 600 RPM. However, through the PWM connector and a compatible motherboard, the fan can accelerate up to 1,600 RPM, moving an impressive 185.1 m³/h of air. The PWM technology integrates Soft Switching Commutation (SSC) technology, which ensures smooth and quiet operation. This provides high flexibility, allowing the Viper to be used in silent systems as well as overclocking setups.

For additional noise reduction, four rubber pins are included. These ensure decoupling from the case or cooler, preventing the transmission of vibrations.
