The Uni-T UT512D High Voltage Insulation Resistance Tester is an advanced digital measuring device designed for use in demanding environments such as power generation, telecommunications, and industry. It supports test voltages up to 2500V (250V / 500V / 1000V / 2500 V), enables PI and DAR measurements, and offers automatic discharge, high-voltage alarm, and data logging functions. Thanks to its wide measurement range and USB communication, it is suitable for both the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Stable measurements across a wide voltage range
The device operates at four test voltage levels, allowing you to adjust the measurement parameters to a specific application. This enables you to test both low-voltage installations and more demanding systems. The wide range enhances versatility and allows a single meter to be used for various tasks.
PI and DAR functions in practice
The tester enables measurement of the polarization index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR). In practice, this means a more accurate assessment of insulation condition, which helps detect potential problems faster and prevent system failures.
Automatic safety features
The UT512D model is equipped with automatic discharge and a high-voltage alarm. As a result, after the measurement is complete, the device automatically ensures user safety by reducing the risk of accidental contact with voltage.
Convenient data management
The ability to store up to 999 measurement sets and transfer data via USB to a computer allows for later analysis of results. This is particularly useful for service work and documenting measurements.
