The MEROSS MS405-EU water leak sensor provides effective protection against flooding in your home—it features a dual detection system and a loud 100 dB alarm. Its compact design, measuring 63 × 63 × 27 mm, allows for easy installation even in hard-to-reach places, such as under the sink or near the washing machine. Thanks to connectivity with the hub and mobile app, the user receives immediate notifications of a detected threat, allowing for a quick response and minimizing potential damage.
Precise detection
The device is equipped with sensors located both at the top and bottom of the housing, enabling the detection of leaks from various sources—including dripping water from the plumbing system and liquid accumulating on the floor. The high sensitivity of the probes ensures that even minor leaks are quickly identified, enhancing safety in critical areas of the plumbing system.
Instant alarm and real-time notifications
Upon detecting a leak, both the sensor and the hub trigger a 100 dB audible alarm, effectively alerting household members. Additionally, the Meross app sends push notifications to your smartphone with the device’s current status. The system also allows you to create automations, such as changing the color of smart lighting to red when a leak is detected, providing an additional warning.
Durability and reliability in harsh conditions
The housing meets the IP66 standard, which means high resistance to water and dust, allowing the sensor to operate in demanding environments. Powered by two AAA batteries, it provides over 3 years of operation, and the ability to replace them allows for long-term use without having to purchase a new device.
Smart home integration and full control
The sensor works with popular smart home systems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. The Meross app allows you to monitor events and access up to 2 years of leak history, with the option to export data. A Meross hub is required for operation, which handles communication and access to smart features.
