GODOX V1S Flash for Sony
The GODOX V1S Flash for Sony is a round-head news flash designed for Sony cameras equipped with a Multi Interface Shoe (MIS). It offers 76 Ws of power, TTL auto mode, high-speed sync (HSS) with fast shutter speeds, and the built-in Godox X 2.4 GHz wireless system. Powered by a high-capacity VB26 lithium-ion battery, with a fast recharge time to full power of approximately 1.5 seconds and extensive control options, the V1S is ideal for news photography, portrait sessions, and studio work.
Soft and Even Light
The round flash head is designed to ensure even light distribution from the center all the way to the edges of the frame. This results in more natural lighting that works well when photographing people, events, and shots requiring aesthetically pleasing light. An additional feature is the built-in LED modeling light with 10-step power adjustment, which makes it easier to assess the lighting effect before taking the photo.
Fast and Convenient Operation
The light uses a removable VB26 lithium-ion battery, which ensures a stable power supply during shooting. It takes a maximum of 1.5 seconds to fully charge, so the device is ready to take more photos even during fast-paced sessions. The head’s wide adjustment range—from -7° to 120° vertically and from 0° to 330° horizontally—makes it easy to bounce light off walls and ceilings.
Godox X Wireless System
The built-in 2.4 GHz Godox X system allows for compatibility with other strobes and triggers that support this standard. The V1S model supports both Master and Slave modes and allows you to control lighting across up to 5 groups and 32 channels, making it easy to set up complex lighting rigs. The magnetic accessory mount allows you to quickly attach compatible light modifiers without the need for additional adapters.
Advanced features for demanding photographers
The GODOX V1S offers full TTL automation, manual mode, HSS synchronization, second-curtain sync, flash exposure compensation (FEC), and Multi-stroboscopic mode. The manually or automatically adjustable zoom range of 28–105 mm allows you to adapt the beam angle to the scene being photographed. Software updates can be performed via the USB port, ensuring the flash remains compatible with the manufacturer’s latest features.
