GODOX MF12-K2 Macro Flash Kit

The GODOX MF12-K2 is a kit of two macro flashes that provides precise lighting when shooting from very close range. It is ideal for capturing sharp, highly detailed photos of insects, plants, small objects, as well as for product and medical photography. With 12 Ws of power, a flash duration ranging from 1/1200 to 1/34000 s, and a recharge time of 0.01 to 1.7 s, it allows for smooth operation even during dynamic shoots. Its compact design, wireless control capability, and flexible lamp positioning give you complete freedom to shape the light exactly where it’s needed.

Macro photography requires extraordinary precision, and proper lighting often determines the final result. The GODOX MF12 kit was designed specifically for working with small subjects photographed at very close range. Thanks to their compact size, the lights can be easily hidden outside the frame while still effectively illuminating the subject. The adjustable head allows you to quickly direct the light exactly where it’s needed, making it easier to work both outdoors and in the studio.

Two Light Sources and Expandability

The MF12-K2 kit includes two strobes mounted on a mounting ring, which significantly expands your creative lighting options. Each lamp can be freely rotated and moved around the ring, making it easy to achieve the desired light direction and minimize unwanted shadows. The system also allows for expansion with additional MF12 lights, providing even greater control over lighting during more demanding shoots.

Freedom to experiment with lighting

The MF12 can function as a classic ring light but offers significantly greater flexibility. The ability to adjust each lamp independently allows you to create a variety of lighting effects and tailor the lighting to the subject being photographed. This solution works well both for capturing the finest details and for creative product photography, where proper light shaping is crucial. The kit includes adapters compatible with lenses with diameters of 49 mm, 52 mm, 55 mm, 58 mm, 62 mm, 67 mm, 72 mm, and 77 mm. This allows the strobes to be easily mounted on many popular lenses without the need to purchase additional accessories.

High-Capacity Battery and Wireless Control

Each flash is equipped with a built-in lithium battery that allows for up to 500 full-power flashes on a single charge, and a recharge time ranging from 0.01 to 1.7 seconds ensures seamless operation even during intense photo shoots. When the battery level drops, it can be conveniently recharged via a USB-C cable. An additional advantage is 2.4 GHz wireless communication, which provides the freedom to control the strobes remotely, while support for 5 groups and 32 channels helps prevent interference when working with multiple systems simultaneously. The flash supports System X triggering, a sync cable, and optical triggering, as well as TTL, Multi, M, S1, S2, and Slave modes.
