Industrial-Grade ESD Protection

Fiberon PA612‑ESD ensures sensitive components remain safe from static discharge, making it suitable for PCBs, cleanroom tools, and electronics enclosures. The internal conductivity provided by carbon nanotubes creates consistent surface resistivity in the range of 10⁴–10⁷ Ω/sq.

Superior Mechanical Performance

Thanks to 10 % carbon fiber reinforcement, this filament achieves approximately 84 MPa tensile strength in the XY orientation (21.5 MPa in Z), and a Young’s modulus of around 4,294 MPa when dry .The result: stiff, dimensionally accurate prints ideal for functional parts.

High-Temperature Stability

With a Heat Deflection Temperature of 157 °C at 0.45 MPa, PA612‑ESD resists deformation in demanding heat environments—such as solvent baking or thermal cycles common in electronics manufacturing.

Reliable and Efficient Printing

Engineered for production environments, the filament can be printed at speeds up to 300 mm/s with minimal warping and excellent surface finish. It’s compatible with breakaway supports like PolySupport for PA12, simplifying complex geometry printing.

Organized and Moisture-Controlled

Spools are vacuum-sealed for dry, tangle-free dispensing and are AMS-compatible—ensuring smooth workflows in automated material systems. As a nylon, it is hygroscopic—storage in dry conditions and pre-print drying are recommended.

Seamless Integration

PA612‑ESD prints on any 3D printer with an all-metal hotend (280–300 °C) and hardened steel or equivalent nozzle due to abrasive carbon fiber content. No heated chamber is needed; a build plate at 40–50 °C and 0 % fan for first layers are optimal.
