The foundation of the Ultra-Slim series is aramid fiber, commonly used in the aerospace industry and protective equipment. In PITAKA cases, this material gains a refined, modern character. This edition features the unique Glints of Gold motif, inspired by the natural shimmering of light on a rippling surface. The design is complemented with a new brand logo, subtly embedded into the structure. The textured finish enhances grip while reinforcing the premium aesthetic.
PitaTap™ — A case under 1 mm thick shields the camera control surface with aramid fiber, while the hidden capacitive layer enables easy tapping and swiping.
About the artist
This unique design was created in collaboration with distinguished British artist Gordon Hunt. Hunt focuses on capturing light and color, saying his paintings portray „not trees themselves, but the light and colors surrounding them.” Together with the PITAKA brand, he utilized tension-control fiber weaving—known as Fusion Weave – LightRipple technology—to translate his artistic vision into high-performance aramid fiber, creating an effect of moving golden highlights.
